To Squee ... or not to Squee ...

Oh today ... I so squee'd... like a little girl the moment I wandered into the Florence Humane Society's Christmas Store they set up for approx 20 days each November.  A visual orgasm of sorts if you will.  I was tickled beyond belief.  I do LOVE Christmas something fierce.  There isn't anything better than a granny apron, baking, the house glistening from tippity top to bottom with ornaments, tinsel and twinkling lights along with the sound of good old Bing Crosby casting his spell with a tune or two..

Emma toddling behind saying Kismas, Santa ooooohhhh lookie and me just bug eyed at all the lovely eye candy galore just waiting for me to gobble it up.

To the back of the store I went where the lovely ziplock bags of ornaments lay waiting like innocent prey.. All priced $1.00 each I went through each and everyone scrutinizing the goodies within until I found something well worth over a dollar.   In the end the entire table you're about to view was less than 20 dollars and I am one HAPPY "little" girl.   :)

How could one not Squee over such a joyful load of vintage "Kismas" goodies?

Be still my heart.. Ok so I paid 5 bucks for the box but it was so totally worth it.

Ahhhh even the boxes make me happy.  ( colored old glass bulbs within.. nothing fancy but still something to cherish )

Plastic Icicles.  I love the no melt kind!

I was utterly in heaven just looking at my goodies... Who needs chocolate when you have "Kismas" eh?

A gorgeous larger indent still intact with original flocking.  :)

Now tell me ..  who wouldn't be happy looking at such cheerful things?

Shiloh gives this a lip licking approval! ( ok so I cheated and he just had din din... )

  2. And not one snowman in the bunch. My mom is cracker dawg crazy over snowmen and I would RATHER have a variety like you have. You are soooo lucky.

  3. Frankie...
The GrandWeenMa is very fond of Snowmen too so any neat Snowman I ever find instantly seems to dissipate from my house and appear over at hers.

Just wait til I deck the house out for Christmas. Ooo weee :)
